Prep Band: This fall we will be starting up another season of the Prep Band. This is an opportunity for musicians who are looking to reengage in an instrument previously played or are picking up a new instrument prior to joining the main band. The Prep Band will meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM prior to the regular Band rehearsal time of 7:30. The Westerly band is a non-profit community-based volunteer organization providing musical entertainment, cultural support and training to our young and old members alike. We participate in a verity of events: parades, outdoor concerts in the park, memorial ceremonies and indoor seasonal concerts. We annually award monetary scholarship to a high school senior to assist with the cost of attending college and universities.
